Frankie Kibagendi is an unwavering advocate for intersex rights, dedicated to ensuring the dignity and rights of intersex children, adolescents, and young adults are upheld. Born intersex himself, Frankie intimately understands the challenges of acceptance in a society marked by biological differences.
With over 13 years of dedicated activism, Frankie passionately champions the cause of intersex individuals, envisioning a world where they are fully accepted and provided with essential social services including healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
As the founder of Intersex Kenya Education and Advocacy (I.K.E.A), Frankie has played a pivotal role in eradicating human rights violations against intersex children. Under his leadership, I.K.E.A has become a beacon of hope, engaging in national and multinational dialogues to advocate for inclusivity and protection.
Frankie's significant achievements include his instrumental role in ending Intersex Genital Mutilation, a practice he himself endured in infancy. His tireless efforts have raised awareness and spearheaded actions to prevent such cruelty from affecting intersex children.
Beyond policy advocacy, Frankie is deeply committed to the personal growth and empowerment of intersex teenagers and young adults. Through his guidance, many have found the courage to embrace their identity and pursue their life's purpose confidently.
With unwavering commitment, Frankie Kibagendi leads the charge for a world where intersex individuals are not merely tolerated but fully embraced and celebrated for who they are.

They say culture is what defines our origin because at least we are able to say we belong somewhere but we should also be informed enough to differentiate between cultural practices that promote morals and those that are harmful and inhuman. Let's rewrite the story. " An Intersex child is not a curse."
